Biography:
The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. Their best-known lineup, consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, became considered by many as the greatest and most influential act of the rock era.Rooted in skiffle and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later utilized several genres, ranging from pop ballads to psychedelic rock, often incorporating classical elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as their songwriting grew in sophistication, they came to be perceived by fans and cultural observers as an embodiment of the ideals shared by
the era's sociocultural revolutions.
Paul McCartney:
Sir Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool in 1942. His father, Jim McCartney worked as a cotton salesman and his mother, Mary, worked as a nurse and midwife. Paul’s dad had a talent for music too, and was a keen pianist. He even had his own band, called Jim Mac’s Jazz Band. Paul’s younger brother, Michael, is better known as Mike McGear, the Liverpool poet who belongs to a group called The Scaffold. Mike uses the stage name McGear so as not to capitalise on his older brother’s fame.
John Lennon:
John Winston Lennon was born in Liverpool, England on October 9, 1940 during a blitzkrieg attack by the German Luftwaffe. His parents were Julia and Arthur "Freddie" Lennon, and the middle name of "Winston" was given to John in honor of Winston Churchill. Alfred was in the merchant marine and was largely absent from Lennon's early years, although he reappeared after the Beatles had become mega-famous. By 1944, Julia was pregnant with another man's baby, and Julia's sister Mimi threatened to call Social Services unless John was handed over to her care. John lived with his Aunt Mimi and her husband, George Smith, until his late teens. (His childhood home at Mendips on Menlove Avenue, where he lived with his Aunt Mimi, can be seen in the photograph below.) It was George Smith who gave John his first harmonica.He died in a street of New York City when a crazy fan shoots him with a gun from the back.
Ringo Starr:

Ringo Starr, the man who was to become the legendary Beatles´drummer, he borned with the name of Richard Starkey on 7th July 1940 in Liverpool, England.
He was born in the poorer Dingle area of Liverpool to dock worker Richard Starkey and bakery assistant Elsie. His mother and father separated when he was three years old and Ringo Starr's mother later re-married a man called Harry Graves, who was a close stepfather to Starr, who cheekily nicked-named the older man his ‘step ladder’.
George Harrison:
A master musician, a film producer and actor, best known as the lead guitarist lead vocalist of The Beatles, George Harrison was born on February 25/1943 in Liverpool, Merseyside, England. He was also the youngest of four children, born to Harold and Louise Harrison.
Like his future band mates, Harrison was not born into wealth. Louise was largely a stay at home mom while her husband Harold drove a school bus for the Liverpool Institute
